Day 6: Despite recognizing inadequacies within policies such as Meal Breaks and PT Language, the employer has stated that if an agreement cannot be met, they would be happy with status quo. Read more here.
Day 5 saw the Bargaining Committee building a comprehensive counter to the Employers counter that was presented late Monday night. Read more here.
Day 4 saw the parties attempting to negotiate more in-depth articles of the Collective Agreement with monetary value. The Committee attended from 0900hrs to almost 2200hrs. Read post for more.
Day 3 of bargaining consisted of signing off on more agreed upon language regarding maintaining the uniform allotment, changes to the probationary period and seniority gained during said period as well as discipline/discharge language in regards to decertification or revocation of drivers license.
